The finalists have been chosen for Columbus, OH’s funniest stand-up comedian competition. Eight local comics were voted to move on after competing in semi-final competitions on Oct. 28 and Nov 11. The finalists are:

Artie Lange signs a deal for second book

Artie Lange’s first book, Too Fat to Fish was just released Tuesday. And already his publisher Spiegel & Grau (a part of Random House) has signed up the stand-up comedian and Howard Stern Show star to write a second, according to New York’s Daily News.
