I understand the acting thing.
The Music thing…. NO, NO, NO.
Comedians should not try serious music.
Reason= Eddie Murphy. It adds a blemish to his career. And becomes a punchline itself.
People like Steven Lynch could do “real music”, but I thought that even when he did his little thing on broadway it some how cheapened his comedy act.
