In an effort to make American Idol and the fact that Ellen DeGeneres is now on the show and that Simon Cowell will be leaving the show part of every stitch of reporting, MTV News lobbed a question at Sarah Silverman… in an elevator. Awesome. That question: Would she ever consider being a judge on the Fox show. Sadly, she gave a real answer. The camera dude gets extra points for catching the mail room guy with the huge shipment leaving the elevator.

In the season’s second episode of the Sarah Silverman Program — airing tomorrow at 10:30 pm EST on Comedy Central — Sarah usurps a good-natured old time children’s book author’s job as the host of a story time television show. Check out a clip below.
