Russell Brand movie Get Him to the Greek: Trailer now available
As we reported yesterday, there will be no shortage of stand-up comedian Russell Brand on the big screen thanks to Warner Bros attaching him to two movie projects. But in total, he’s involved in no less than five films in the next two years. One of those is Get Him to the Greek, where Brand plays an out-of-control, alcohol and drug-fueled rock star opposite of poor Jonah Hill, the chubby straight man trying desperately to rein him in. We’ve seen the formula beat to death of course. And Russell will hardly be acting due to his drug-addled past and his current admitted sex addiction. But we can’t imagine, especially from looking at the just-released trailer it won’t entertain us.
Beyond Brand, the stand-up comedy world is represented in the film by co-stars Aziz Ansari, Nick Kroll and DeRay Davis. Check out the trailer below. Are you going to check it out when it hits theaters on June 4?
After the jump, check out a video we shot last year of Russell greeting adoring female fans after an intimate show in New York City. Like we said, Brand didn’t have to act too much for his role in Get Him to the Greek.

Get Him to the Greek is one super hilarious movie. Can’t wait to watch it with friends on June 4. I am sure nothing could beat the comedic tandem of Russell Brand and Jonah Hill. And P. Diddy is there, too, not to mention cameos by Cristina Aguilera, Pink and Katy Perry.
