Conan’s NBC exit confirmed, says report
Conan O’Brien is leaving NBC, accepting a healthy payout and will be allowed to take his talent to any other network. That’s what the Daily Beast is currently reporting, with writer Kim Master’s sourcing a “knowledgeable source.”
Masters writes: “According to the outlines of a settlement, Conan O’Brien will leave NBC and the network will make an as-yet unspecified payment. The comedian will be free to appear elsewhere on television well before his contract expires, despite earlier threats from NBC that it would prevent him from working anywhere else.”
Hours ago, TMZ reported that NBC, had in fact, let Conan go and would reinstate Jay Leno back to his original time slot of 11:30 pm. Though NBC denied it, it seems increasingly likely that this scenario is true.
Meanwhile, tonight Leno made his first set of negative comments about O’Brien since the controversy began. Check out the video below.
Later, Leno welcomed Jimmy Kimmel on his show, who, two nights ago hosted his entire ABC late night show as Leno. Kimmel took great joy in making fun of Leno tonight, directly to his face. See below.

LENO is terrible! His audience is super old and half of them will be dying soon. Conan had what, only 7 months to build an audience? The guy is awesome. His crowd was super young.
Conan will end up on top. I’ll follow Conan anywhere, until then, I’ll watch Letterman.

Leno is classless. “You’re Welcome”? Welcome for what? Oh yeah you’re welcome that I just screwed you like I did Letterman. Leno is an idiot, I’ll never watch him. Anyone that does watch him should have their heads examined. First he screwed Letterman out of the Tonight Show. Now he screws Conan out of the Tonight Show that he already had. Then he goes around playing the innocent goober role, like he has no idea how any of this happened. Much like an infected twat, the pain will come for him at some point. NBC could be run better by a group of homeless retards on crack.

Jay Leno’s sense of humor is corny and for old people. His image is completely tarnished now. I am boycotting and hope many people do the same. Bring Jay down!!!!
