Jim Norton all but dukes it out with Jesse Ventura
Every now and again, it’s refreshing to see a good old fashioned knock down, drag out fight between a comedian and a non comedian. Yesterday one of our favorite comedians Jim Norton, the veteran third-mic man on SiriusXM’s Opie & Anthony Show, got into it pretty damn deep with former wrestler and now former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura. The governor was a guest of the show to promote his new gig as the host of Conspiracy Theory on TruTV, a show wherein he and a team of investigators explore some of the most famous conspiracy theories.
Check out the first video below, which shows the culmination of the conversation incredibly entertaining fight. After the jump, there’s three more videos, that better show how the fight began. Sound off in the comments section! Was Jimmy right? Was Jesse right? What do you think?

I think Jim, like so many radio guys do, was talking all over his guest. If you bring a guy in to talk on your show, let him get a thought out without interrupting him (or – if it’s a comic – stepping all over his punchlines, BOB AND TOM). I’d be frustrated too.

If Ventura would have ended him it would have been the first funny moment of Norton’s amazingly successful life.

Jim Norton may have been yapping away at Jesse, but we all know his balls were shrunk up the size of peas.
Idiot.

All I can say is, I wonder if little man Norton would be so brave outside the studio with the former wrestler/Navy Seal Jesse Ventura. Don’t think so. Just happened upon this doing a search for Jesse’s new TV show where I heard about it in a way better interview by Howard Stern.

Norton reminds me of the gremlin that sits on Jabba the Hut sycophantically laughing at everything his master says. Except Norton is much more asexual than that greasy muppet. Do you think he’d look deeply into Dick Cheney’s eyes as he swallowed his load?

Actually if you heard the whole interview (which was 2 hours long), Jesse spent the first hour and a half shouting over everyone else who was trying to get a word in, so by the end Jim just had enough and decided to turn it around on him which is when Jesse pulled the “im not listening” mood like a 6 year old.
Also, hes NOT a Navy Seal and never was. Do your research.
Also, shortly before he stood up and said that he had someone telling him he had to go because of a schedule, he mentioned that he has NOTHING going on for the rest of the morning due to a show cancellation.
Though I will say, if I ONLY saw this clip, I would totally agree that Jim wasn’t letting Jesse speak and was just yelling over him. Having heard the entire 2 hour interview, the other 90 minutes Jesse spent doing the exact same thing to everyone else.

Jessie Ventura is a tool. He bullies his points around, and when someone disagrees, he acts like a petulant child. He’s irrelevant now, and desperate to keep his face in the public. Jimmy listened to his lunacy and allowed him to have his say, before he disagreed with the points. As soon as he disagreed, Jessie got all butt hurt. Great debater. I find it humorous how Jessie is so anti-government, a government that he, himself took part in. Jimmy handed this buffoon his ass before, so he knew what he was in for, before he even got there.
Jimmy made more valid points, that Rocky Horror Picture Show’s hair couldn’t refute, so allow the sulking commence.

PSC has it right. if you listened to the whole interview, your points on Yimmee shouting were squashed. As for just reading something and then commenting on it, not knowing the whole story? i say Frrrunkis to you kind sir!

Ventura is a moron. Jim went a little over the top but that’s his job. He’s a raunchy comedian.
