Filmmaker Michael Moore announced plans to organize a comedy festival in Traverse City, Michigan, where he lives.

Moore will co-organize the event with comedian Jeff Garlin, star of HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” The Traverse City Comedy Arts Festival will take place over a weekend and feature stand-up, sketch comedy, and comedic films. A date has not yet been finalized.

“We’ve actually talked to some great people — I don’t want to mention any names right now — who are going to come to Traverse City for this first comedy festival,” Moore told the Associated Press. “I think you’ll be very pleased.”
