Artie Lange nailed for DUI
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ.com that comedian Artie Lange was busted on “suspicion of driving under the influence.” Lange was reportedly driving in Toms River, NJ, where he got into a small car accident.
Lange has been very public about his attempts to get sober and off drugs; he’s even recently lost a substantial amount of weight. Lange has had a long history of substance abuse. Most recently, the controversial Howard Stern Show comedian was black listed from certain talk shows because of his on-air behavior.
Stern has been publicly critical of Lange’s behavior both on and off his Sirius XM broadcast. It’ll be interesting to see how Stern deals with this news, if in fact, anything comes from it.
TMZ updated their story saying, “Cops tells us Artie was driving a 2009 Nissan Sentra when he rear-ended a 2004 Pontiac. He was charged with DUI and careless driving.”

If he wasn’t popular no one would care. Why can’t people just let him live his life the way he wants to? I love Artie on Howard and I would never want to see him go.

He was so high on his horse about sobering up. Wasn’t he just totally dogging on Richard about his drinking and how great it is to be sober. I mean it is hard to get sober and I encourage anyone, but he has been so obnoxious. Hope he didnt’ hurt anyone.
