Fox News pundit Glenn Beck to launch comedy tour
Fox News Channel’s Glenn Beck has been grabbing many a headline these days, thanks to his amazingly bizarre antics on the conservative news channel. He’s decided to use that publicity — good or bad — to launch a short comedy tour. According to the Associated Press, “Beck calls his act a ‘poor man’s Seinfeld’ and intends to mix topical humor with his modern-day reimagining of Thomas Paine’s 1776 pamphlet Common Sense.”
Most recently, Beck has drawn attention with a segment on his Fox show wherein he poors mock gasoline on a studio guest to illustrate his opinion that President Barack Obama should simply “set us on fire” instead of continuing on with his unpopular policies. (See video below).
Beck’s comedy tour will hit Denver, Phoenix, San Diego, Kansas City, Houston and Richmond, Va. After the jump, watch Glenn Beck cry.
