Eddie Murphy to play Richard Pryor in biopic

Stand-up comedy legend Eddie Murphy has reportedly signed on to play even bigger comedy legend Richard Pryor in a film about the latter comic. The $25 million film is being produced by Fox Searchlight (Slumdog Millionaire) and will be directed bu Bill Condon, under which Murphy scored an Oscar nomination for his role in DreamGirls.
