Boston comedy fixture sues club owner

Boston stand-up comedy staple Steve Sweeney is suing the owner of Boston’s most popular comedy space, the Comedy Connection (which recently moved to the Wilbur Theatre). At the heart of lawsuit is Sweeney’s claims that Bill Blumenreich reneged on a deal that would have paid Sweeney $100,000 for a year’s worth of performances twice a month.
