Boston stand-up vet Steve Sweeney to be honored at city’s comedy fest

The 9th annual Boston Comedy Festival kicks off this Sunday with a new annual tradition.The Festival features seven days of shows from some rising stars in stand-up, culminating with a Finals where the top 8 comics will compete for a $10,000 prize.
But this year, the Festival will now be presenting the “Boston Comedian of the Year”
