Orthodox Jewish comic takes stand-up off-Broadway

Chris Campbell was born from Italian and Irish-Catholic parents in Philadelphia and is now a stand-up comedian. There’
s nothing too unusual about that. Except, years after being a drug and alcohol-addicted Philadelphia area Catholic school teen, way, he became Yisrael Campbell, converted to Judaism, and turned into one of the few Orthodox Jewish stand-up comedians.
